Part one of From the Pole to the Palace left off with Jameeka wanting her now ex-husband, Seth Roberts, and his new girlfriend dead. For all of Dreka's "sense" she was dumb as HELL! After her sperm donor took the kid the second time from school without her permission wouldn't you think her retarded azz would take him off the card to take her & inform the school? She should've also told her daughter, who he mentally & emotionally abused, to NOT GO with the sperm donor. Then who lets a six year old know ALL the codes to security? I don't care how smart she was. There is no way that kid should've known all of that.There were plenty of missing words, characters being called the wrong name and the misuse of "myself." In Urban Fiction, it appears to be popular to always misuse "myself" when many times it should be plain old "me" or "I." Also, overprotective, that was misused! You aren't overprotective when you don't want men seeing your daughter bathe. It's protective. It was misused over & over.
I like the characters, the storyline is interesting & Seth is WOW! I need one of him. I like the real life lessons the author placed in the story. Like when one of Seth's boys went off on him for being inappropriate with thickums the stripper!!! Don't go along with wrong actions because it's yo boy or somebody.
Jameeka needs an award for DUMBEST Airhead on Earth. Who leaves a Rolex to get a Timex? Dumb broad!!

This series is so good... Levi needs to be dismissed. Jameeka now see that she made the biggest mistake of her life. I can't stand her either. I like how Seth step up to the plate with Dreka daughter Charisma. I'm hoping whoever got shot make it
This man Levi keeps getting worse!! How can a character not just die off and keep getting the up on mistreating his daughter. Seth is still #1 and just got daddy daughter award. I love the way he loves this little girl and her momma. Great read and ready for Levi to go.
She was so protected of her daughter, I loved this book, but why she never took his name off for picking up her daughter from school. She did things in the house to protected her when she bathed her daughter. But why she never told her daughter , to go placing with her dad. When the last time he took her from the school without her permission. Just why!!

Pole to the Palace picks up where the first book left off, in this installment we get to meet Seth ex-wife who come to stir up trouble, after the divorce, Seth ex feel as if she is entitled to keep living in the life style she had with Seth. Seth & Dreka can finally be together and although their love is tested in the end it’s all about family and love.

You are crazy, however, if you think I'm going to jump from paying 2.99 for just over 160 pages to paying 9.99 for virtually the same amount. Get out of here! The series is good but nowhere near that good. I guess it's on to the next author. Peace.
I am in suspense waiting on book three. I was a little disappointed with Seth. He is street wise and a major player in the game. Why didn't he try to find the guy his wife was giving the money too?
I felt his character could have been written better. However, the book was great
Dreka made it to the palace, but still had demons that got exposed. I still can't stand Levi hopefully karma will catch up to him. I felt bad for Jameeka, but she brought everything on herself. The ending was crazy, can't wait for part 3.
